If you ever see a retail worker…

A guide for being a decent human being and setting up a positive environment for good customer service.
  1. Follow the rules
  2. Be kind to them and they will be kind to you
  3. Realize they don’t have to serve you
  4. You do not write their paycheck
  5. You do not know more about their job in the moment
  6. If you want to call a manager, odds are that manager wont stop what they are doing to service you
  7. Be patient
  8. If the worker says they can’t, they can’t and wont
  9. Realize they are probably not a mind reader
  10. They are human too
  11. Thank them for risking their health and sanity for your product that you can’t get online
  12. Leave your bad mood at the door

Moral of the story… Rude customer = Limited service Decent customer = Decent service Good customer = Good service
